Artist Bio

I find inspiration through folklore, and the natural world, particularly Celtic folklore, Welsh history/heritage and immersive art. My love of nature and the outdoors stems from living amongst the rolling hills, marshes, and fields of Anglesey, North Wales. A recurring theme in my practice is the celebration of the natural environment and cyclic patterns of nature.

I translate this inspiration into immersive and interactive installations.

Much of my artwork blurs the boundaries between installation and nature, creating site-specific immersive installations using Land Art philosophy. My aim within my practice is to connect people back to the natural world, to show them the benefits of their natural environment, the history of the landscape, and to help people find healing through mindfulness and well-being using nature and the landscape.

I use found and sourced materials when possible, relating this to issues of waste and showing how you can transform natural materials into objects of art.

Alongside my installations, I facilitate educational environmental art workshops and creative art workshops for schools, local communities and art clubs. Please contact me for all inquiries.
